UniformsThe league will supply every player with a SCCYSA Uniform Kit which includes a jersey, shorts, and socks. Teams that choose to provide their own uniforms will receive SCCYSA training gear (practice shirt and socks) in lieu of a SCCYSA Uniform kit. Matching uniforms must be worn for every league match even in cold/hot temperatures. In the event of cold weather, players may dress in cold weather gear appropriate for the weather conditions. Jerseys must be worn over the top of cold weather gear.
Warm-ups including pants, sweatshirts, jackets, hoodies, hats, and gloves may be worn as long as they do not contain hard, sharp, or metal objects. If jackets with hoods or hoodies are worn, hoods must remain tucked into the garment for the entire duration of the game.

Player EquipmentAll players must have shin guards, socks worn over the shin guards, and soccer or tennis/running shoes for all practices and games. No exceptions. Jewelry of any sort is not allowed; no necklaces, rings, bracelets or earrings will be worn.
Serious injury can result from jewelry, especially earrings. FIFA provides an exception for medical alert bracelets, medical alert necklaces, and religious necklaces; these may be worn but must be taped down to the skin for all of these items and under jerseys for necklaces. |
