Denny Vaninger is the current Director of
Coaching & Education for U.S. Youth Soccer
in Missouri. He conducts coaching courses,
speaking engagements and school assemblies
throughout the state. As a St. Louis native and
member of the St. Louis Hall of Fame, Denny has
played and coached at all levels. He played
professionally in the North American Soccer
league and was a member of the U.S. National
Team and six U.S. Soccer Federation nation
Championship teams. He currently holds a USSF 'A'
Coaching License and a U.S. National Youth
Coaching License.
Vaninger is also the author of the recently published
book, Practice Makes Perfect, a guide for coaching kids
and making every practice fun. The book is enhanced
by a foreword by Tony Whelan, assistant director,
Manchester United youth academy and former
professional player in England and the U.S. This camp
is designed to improve individual soccer skills along
with team tactics, in a fun learning environment. Players
will be motivated by age appropriate activities and small
sided games. Emphasis will be on individual technique,
in a soccer related environment.
The entire staff will ensure all players enjoy this fun,
unique soccer experience.

The College ID Junior Program is designed to bridge
fun soccer training and quality instruction into our
soccer camps.We will utilize current and former
college soccer players, current college coaches and
professional soccer players.
Includes four days of training and games. Experience
a blend of fun games and quality soccer instruction.
*New college coaches will be rotated each week.
9:00am - 10:30am:
Technical skills, fastfootwork, passing and receiving,
dribbling and shooting
10:30 am to 11:00am
Lunch Break
11:00 am to 11:15 am
Variety of fun games not necessarily soccer specific

Lindsey grew up playing soccer in St. Louis and
played soccer at Iowa State University. Lindsey
was the assistant coach at UMSL and works with
the SCCYSA organization running camps and training
coaches. Lindsey also is an elementary school teacher
and coaches several teams.
Rain outs will be held on the Friday of Camp week.
