Schedule Conflicts

What if I have a game conflict?

Conflicts forms are given to Head Coaches prior to the start of each given season; conflicts are generally due about 5-6 weeks prior to the start of the season to allow for use when scheduling games.

Conflict forms submitted after the deadline are NOT guaranteed!

Once the schedule has been released, Head Coaches may to attempt to reschedule games by following the steps below.

1.  Contact the Head Coach/Designated Contact for the opposing team and find an alternate day/time-frame that works for both teams.  Coaches must provide a minimum option of a 3 hour time-frame on any given day.  Contact lists are provided by the office to coaches via email.

2.  Email the Scheduler and ask for field availability for the agreed upon day/time. Coaches may also use the "Calendar" tab under TEAM CENTRAL to look up available field time.  When searching, choose the complex your age group plays at and select EVERY age bracket for shared fields.  Example: a U4 team must choose all U4 and U5 divisions for boys and girls to view all games and find open time slots.

3. The Scheduling Team will reschedule the game during the agreed upon day/time.  If the chosen day/time is not available, alternate options will be sent by email for both teams to choose from.

4. Any rescheduled games requests or requests to move a game are due by Wednesday at 5:00pm of any given week.  If requested after that day/time, the game will stand as is.

This a multi-step process but one that was instituted to be fair to both teams.  Please remember that there are thousands of games each season and it is impossible to accommodate every request.  If you have any questions, concerns, or problems that arise, please contact your division Commissioner; contact info can be found on our main page under the "Contact" tab.

Head Coaches may designate one person to communicate on their behalf with other coaches/Scheduler.  Only one Designated Contact is allowed per team for the entire season.  EVERY Designated Contact MUST be registered as a Volunteer and be in good standing with SCCYSA.
